Adding Text to Your Images

Now that you know how to add images and text to your pages I wanted to take a moment to show you how to add text captions to your images. By doing this you can easily add a description or saying to your images to help explain what they are about .

Once you have your image in place on the page you can type in some text in any other section of that same page. Then all you need to do is drag the text to the top or bottom of the image to have Sites display the text as a caption for that image. Figure 3.51 shows a book cover image with some text that says #1 Best Seller underneath the bar that says Contact.
